Our love story begins with friends convincing Mia to try out dating apps. Much to his dismay, Billy had already been on the dating apps, never meeting the right person and getting ghosted along the way. We were both reluctant that this would eventually work, but we knew many friends who met their significant other this way. Mia's close friends Katie and Ella helped make her Hinge account and clever Ella set the title of Mia's profile as "I bet you can't guess my real name, it's Greek!" Sure enough, Billy saw this on Mia's account and took it as a challenge. He started messaging her in Greek with different name options. Little did he know, Mia didn't read Greek! One thing led to another and Billy asked Mia out to dinner. Their first date was at Avli in Lincoln Park. They hit it off and the rest is history!
