Things to do

The Wedding Website of Jessica Martissa and William McManigle
Durham has no short supply of amazing food and hangout options. We hope you enjoy our curated list of some of our favorite spots.

Monuts

1002 9th Street, Durham, NC 27705
, (919) 286-2642

A favorite breakfast spot. Come early as lines can get long on a Saturday morning!

True Flavors Diner Lakewood

2022 Chapel Hill Road, Durham, NC 27707
, (919) 294-9757

True southern breakfast at this wonderful gem.

Parker and Otis

112 South Duke Street, Durham, NC 27701
, (919) 683-3200

Come for the turkey, bacon and avacado sandwich. Stay for all the trinkets your heart can take.

Ponysaurus Brewery

219 Hood Street, Durham, NC 27701

The beer beer would drink if beer could drink beer.

Parts & Labor

723 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham, NC 27701

Beer, cocktails, bahn mi, and more! A Durham staple.

MKokko

311 Holland Street, Durham, NC 27701

The ramen. The chicken wings. You'll thank us later.

Pizzeria Toro

105 East Chapel Hill Street, Durham, NC 27701
, (919) 908-6936

Trust.

M Sushi

311 Holland Street, Durham, NC 27701
, (919) 908-9266

Our favorite sushi restaurant. So fresh you wont be able to have just one..or four rolls.

Alley Twenty-Six

320 E Chapel Hill Street, Durham, NC 27701

There are endless cocktail bars in Durham but Alley is our favorite! Jess's go-to is Mr. 404 (ATL shoutout) and Bill loves their Old Fashioned.

The Durham Hotel Rooftop Bar

315 East Chapel Hill Street, Durham, NC 27701

Enjoy a Durham sunset on this beautiful rooftop just down the street from Toro.

Duke Gardens

420 Anderson Street, Durham, NC 27705

Adjacent to the Groom's alma mater. We highly recommend a walk through these beautiful gardens. We can be found here most weekend throughout the warm weather. Watch out though, there are two bamboo gardens--see if you can figure out which one Bill proposed at.

Durham Farmers' Market

501 Foster Street, Durham, NC 27701
, (919) 667-3099

The perfect Saturday morning activity. Grab some beautiful local flowers before heading to brunch!

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Chapel Hill, NC
, (919) 962-2211

While we love all things Durham, our list wouldn't be complete without including the Bride's alma mater. Sip on some sweet tea while strolling through the "southern part of heaven." Rah rah.
