When is the deadline to RSVP?

Do I need to RSVP? Why is this important?

Answer

We are very excited to share our new beginning with you. It is very important for you to let us know if you will be able to attend. There are numerous things that we need a solid headcount for: tables, chairs, food, drinks, etc. (And we have to provide headcounts to vendors and want to be as accurate as possible.) Please RSVP as soon as you know you will be able to attend or please decline if you cannot make it. If you cannot make it, we completely understand. Life happens. :) RSVP Deadline: 8/1/2024

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please. :) We prefer Wedding Day Casual. What does that mean? The wedding is being held in a barn venue, but we still want you to be comfortable. :) May we suggest: Dresses, dress pants, nice shirts, ties, even jeans are ok…no athletic wear or holy jeans please :) (but we know those are completely in style). Also, keep in mind Virginia weather can be all over the place especially in October. Keep an eye on the weather and bring a jacket/coat if you feel necessary.

Can I bring a date?

While we would love to welcome everyone to our day, we can only accommodate those invited. If you have a plus one, that person will be listed when you RSVP or the option to add someone will be listed.

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

As much as we love you and your children, we are limited in space and we want you to have an adult “date night” away. You deserve it. Plus, there will be alcohol served at this event and kids + alcohol=not good. :)

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Thanks for asking! First, we want you to know that your presence at our special day is gift enough along with your ongoing love, support, and good vibes! If you are inclined to share a gift with us, we have a registry page listed through our wedding site. Please find it through the menu of the page. We have most things on a typical registry, but are registered at Amazon and Walmart and have other needs as well as a honeymoon fund listed on our registry. We will also have a card box at the wedding for those that would prefer that route. Either way, we appreciate you and can’t wait to see YOU at our special day!

We will provide some alcohol to include wine and beer. You are also welcome to bring your own.

Will there be parking?

Answer

There will be parking located at the venue. If you know a friend is coming, please make every attempt to carpool. That will help with parking/spacing.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding is indoors, followed by the reception at the same location. Since the wedding will be in Virginia during October weather, it can be warm or cool. A light jacket could come in handy especially as the evening approaches.

Can we take pictures at the wedding?

Sure! Please do, but please share them with us on social media using the hashtag #ReadySetJohnson2024 You can also share here: https://weduploader.com/upload/4RF879YmVptdLSGX *No flash photography please. This could mess up the quality of our photographers/videographers work. Also, please be mindful of our photographers and videographers when they are taking shots and do not stand in their way. They have been given guidelines on which shots to get and are working hard to capture our moments. Please be mindful of others attending the wedding and do not block their view with phones or cameras.
