Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Amelia Hershman and Patrick Biggs
These are a few places we have visited in the past. If you wish to go snorkeling, deep sea fishing, or just want to rent a boat yourself, there are countless options nearby!

Dream Bay Resort

4 Woodward Way, Key Largo, FL 33037

Please feel free to come hang out with us at our venue! We will pretty much be lounging around, getting some sun, and just enjoying being on island time. There are kayaks, paddle boards, great views, and easy ocean access available to anyone who wishes to come over! If you wish to bring your boat down for the weekend, please let us know in advance to reserve your space.

Key Largo Fisheries

1313 Ocean Bay Drive, Key Largo, FL 33037
, 800-432-4358

A waterfront market and restaurant with great, fresh sea food. Great place to eat fresh cooked sea food, pick up some fresh fish to cook yourself, or even some bait if you want to go fishing. Our favorite part is that you can feed tarpon and nurse sharks that hang out by their dock!

John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park

102601 Overseas Highway, Key Largo, FL 33037
, (305) 451-6300

Established in 1963, this is the First Undersea Park in the United States. It offers visitors and locals a multitude of experiences that cannot be missed. Great to check out for anyone that likes history!

The Fish House

102401 Overseas Highway, Key Largo, FL 33037
, (305) 451-4665

Our absolute favorite seafood restaurant of all time, rated by Guy Fieri himself.

Harry Harris Beach and Park

50 East Beach Road, Tavernier, FL 33070
, (305) 852-7161

This great little park is perfect for a leisurely picnic and it has a fantastic view. In addition, adventurous travelers cannot only swim in the calm waters of the ocean but also snorkel and explore the underwater beauty.

History of Diving Museum

82990 Overseas Highway, Islamorada, FL 33036
, (305) 664-9737

About a 20-25 minute drive from Key Largo. Even if you’re not a scuba diver, this museum is fun and interactive. It takes you on a journey from the very beginning, as man makes gains in exploring the oceans. Learn about the evolution of breathing underwater and all that comes with that.

Florida Keys Brewing Co

81611 Old Highway, Islamorada, FL 33036
, (305) 664-9722

about a 25-30 minute drive from Key Largo. The Keys' only production brewery with an artsy island vibe that includes both a beer garden and a tasting room. They brew close to 30 styles of beers annually. Take a tour of the brewery, enjoy a flight of their beers, check out all the artwork, play some games, or just relax and listen to some music.
