FAQs

Question

I’m concerned about COVID-19. What is being done to ensure everyone’s safety at the wedding?

Answer

Our venue has been taking extra precautions by setting up hand sanitizer stations, installing plexiglass barriers near the food and drink stations, and requiring their entire staff to wear masks. Tables and chairs will be spaced out in both the ceremony and reception areas in accordance to social distancing guidelines. We are also asking all of our guests, 5 and older, to please wear a mask or facial covering to the ceremony and reception. Like at restaurants, once you are seated at your table you may remove your mask to eat. For those that wish to leave early, we will provide to-go containers so that you can take your dinner home. The meal is set to be served at 5:30 after our cocktail hour.

Question

How do I RSVP

Answer

For your convenience, we are using a texting service to gather our RSVPs. Please text “hello” to 202-875-7155 to begin the rsvp process. You will be asked for your first and last name, if you will be attending, the total number of people in your party attending, and their names. Please respond by October 1st. If for any reason you have difficulty doing this or you need to make changes please email me at biancajhunt@msn.com

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

All guests are welcomed to bring their significant others if that means they’ll be out on the dance floor! We ask that you please include that person’s name when you RSVP so that we can know an accurate guest count and plan seating accordingly.

Question

Will Uber/Lyft drivers go out to the venue at the end of the night?

Answer

Unfortunately the cellular reception is poor due to the location of our venue. You can schedule and prepay a ride service to pick you up before your arrival if you’d like. We will be serving beer and wine, so please drink responsibly and make plans ahead of time for a designated driver if you plan to partake.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be held at Cason’s Cove. If the weather permits, the ceremony will take place in one of the outdoor areas. If it rains or is too cold, it will be held indoors in the reception space.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes. After the ceremony, cocktail hour will begin and small bites will be brought around to everyone. Later, Wild Eggs will be catering a dinner buffet featuring breakfast staples such as biscuits, hash brown casserole, bacon, and cinnamon rolls.
