We met in fall of 2009 at our families' small group. We both thought each other was gross and annoying...until we didn't. The rest is history.

Dan proposed during our vacation to Vermont. He chose a really pretty place in a flower field by a river. Katie found out later that he was trying to propose the day before but she was too grumpy. >:( Fortunately, Dan didn't have any photographers hiding in the bushes.
