We're Getting Married!

We met how all couples great couples meet in this day and age. Kai was on the east coast for work and hated eating dinner alone after a long day of work and Betty was just trying to meet her October dating quota so both turned to Hinge. We had our first date at Earl's in Tysons Corner where Kai showed up in work clothes and a backpack, late to the date. After Betty was able to look past his outfit choice and tardiness, Betty and Kai had a great night filled with drinks, arguments and lots of laughs. From there, both committed to a long distance relationship flying coast to coast and other fun destinations as the relationship grew. In 2020, we moved in together and adopted Dango who turned us from just a couple to a family. In October 2021, we planned a trip to Napa. On our second day of wine tasting, Kai was able to pull off the biggest surprise and popped the question surrounded by close friends at Domaine Carneros (Kai cried first). We're so excited to share our special day with you as we embark on our next adventure: marriage, as Kai goes from "October date" to "Forever date" and Betty will always be there to eat with Kai.
