Please plan on semi-formal or cocktail attire. Think dress shirts or patterned short-sleeved shirts with dress pants or khaki/golf shorts. Cocktail dresses, pantsuits, and dressy separates are welcome. Honestly, be you! We understand the weather may get hot by August, so dress as you feel comfortable. This is an indoor event in an air-conditioned space.
If we didn't mention a plus one on your invitation and you want to bring a date, shoot us a message, and we will see if there is still time to add your guest to the event. We will be having additional local guests joining after dinner.
While we'd love to see your little ones, we are only accommodating the children of our immediate family.
As of right now, we do not have a shuttle to the venue. We suspect most of our guests will be driving to Madison, and there is plentiful parking at the event.
Yes! Please make good decisions and feel free to leave your vehicle at the venue overnight and share a ride to your hotel. It is just asked that cars be picked up by 10 am the following morning.
While there won't be an open bar, we will provide two drink tickets for wine or cocktails to everyone over 21. Additionally, we’ll have a keg of local beer available to enjoy throughout the night.
The Goodman Community Center in Madison, Wisconsin, is a beacon of opportunity and empowerment for its community. Their mission? To create a positive space where adolescents can gain practical knowledge and workforce skills and the elderly can take wellness and educational courses. Through diverse programs and workshops, they equip individuals with the tools needed for success. Plus, their food pantry aims to ensure no one in the community goes hungry. What’s truly remarkable is that all proceeds from their services and events directly benefit the center itself, not a corporate giant. By supporting the Goodman Community Center, we’re investing in a brighter future for all.
