Not at all! Enjoy a little ferry ride out of Bridgeport, CT and dock right in Port Jeff! Easy peasy!
Both are options, and whatever is most comfortable or convenient to you! The hotel does have a parking lot (at no additional fee during March) for those who opt to bring their car.
Literally a hop, skip, and a jump away! Or, roughly, a solid 50 foot walk…. As the ferry is docking you will be able to see the hotel on your left, and if you’re walking, there is access to walk off the boat straight to the hotel. If you are driving your car, you will have to drive off the boat and loop around the village to get to the hotel.
Heck yes! Feel free to roam around the village if you have any downtime. There are a number of accessible restaurants, bars, breweries, shops, boutiques, etc. There is a Starbucks if you need a coffee fix, and a CVS if you ran out of bobby pins or boob tape. Everything is within walking distance!
The ferry is right next to the Bpt train station, and across the street is a brand new, spacious parking garage. You can walk from the garage to the ferry, but if you’d prefer not to, just call the ferry shuttle and they will scoop you up!
The answer is always best as a YES. If you want to, or plan on bringing your car, best option is to book ASAP to secure your trip/ticket and avoid any kind of selling out. If you are walking on, there is no need to make reservations, but you can definitely buy your tickets in advance.
Cocktail attire.
A dinner menu will be provided at the reception the day of the wedding. Bon Appetit!
