Matron of Honor
Bethany's sister We shared a room up until I moved to college, which is probably why we're so close. From dance parties in our basement to talking so late at night our parents had to come in and shush us to spring trips visiting me at college, she’s been by my side all these years. She just got married herself so she’s been a huge help in bringing the wedding together!
Bridesmaid
Mike's sister The first time I met Kenzie was when I congratulated her at her own wedding! We were instantly friends which definitely had nothing to do with the embarrassing stories she told me about Mike as a child.
Bridesmaid
Mike's sister-in-law. Carolyn and I are so similar in so many different ways it didn't take long for us to click at all! From our mutual love in Friends to our similar tastes in fashion, it’s like we were already sisters.
Bridesmaid
Bethany's Twin Cousin Andrea has literally been by my side since day one. We were born 56 minutes apart at the same hospital, just down the hall from each other! I always thought that we should have been sisters but God knew that we were too much of a handful for one family so He split us by one degree.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Couple Emma was my roommate for three years in college. She's been by my side through thick and thin and is always there with a dog picture or kitchen fails to make me laugh. She makes some of the best pancakes I've ever had (and has also experimented with some of the worst)! She is arranging the bouquets at the wedding!
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Couple Olivia is my 'work-wifey.' We bonded during the first week of band camp as shy freshmen who were both studying music therapy and have been by each other's sides since! Some our most memorable moments were through UofL's Marching Band, from our first night out in Nashville to making our hats for Derby and so many more.
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Couple Kaylee is like another sister to me- we're so similar from our looks to our upbringings to our personalities. Kaylee and I were too shy to talk to each for most of Freshman year until we decided to take a picture at a party and then we couldn't be separated!
Bridesmaid
Friend of the Couple Kayla and I met her Freshman year through marching band and music therapy classes. I can't exactly remember how we became friends, it just kind of happened! I think her sense of humor and native ties to Ohio probably played a role. Kayla is THE person to turn to when you need cute or goofy pictures to uplift your day.
Flower Girl
Ariya is the daughter of our friends Kaylee and Omega. She is a spunky three year old who has hobbies across the board from crafting to singing to playing with animals. The first time I held her she had this look of pure confusion as I looked like Kaylee but wasn't her mom!
Flower Girl
Charlie is the daughter of Paul and Carolyn Beyer. She is a sweet, caring, and sassy three-year-old who loves playing hide and seek and watching Bluey.
Best Man
Mike's Brother I was trying my best to describe Paul to everyone. Paul is Caring, Daring, Funny, Loyal, Ornery(at times), but the best way to describe my Brother... he's "Always". Paul always puts in 100% effort (except when it came to the dishes), he'll always give me a hard time if I deserve it, He'll always stay up late when I needed someone to talk to, he'll always call me out if I "let the truth get in the way of a good story", but most of all He'll always be there for me no matter what. Which is why I always knew he'd be my best man.
Groomsman
Mike's Brother-in-Law: Justin started as my Sister's Highschool sweetheart, of course, I had to give him a hard time! The first time we met I tried to embarrass them with a Joke, but Justin caught on and finished the Joke before I could. We've been best friends ever since and I couldn't be happier to call him my brother-in-law.
Groomsman
Bethany’s Brother: I think the best possible way to describe Isaac would be the "Fun Older Brother I always wanted as a kid", I mean it's not every day someone gets you to climb a mountain or eat ice cream at 10am! Needless to say, I'm looking forward to having Isaac as my Brother-in-Law.
Groomsman
Bethany’s {future} Brother-in-law: Oh boy...what to say about Alan. We became friends right after he accidentally dropped me on my head while square dancing to "the farmer's daughter" at an Ohio wedding. With Alan I know I'll always have a drinking buddy, an extra set of hands in the workshop, and someone to help pick on the Wilker girls!
Groomsman
Mike’s Cousin Matt was always like a wise goofy older brother I could always count on. Growing up Matt and I always shared a bond. Whenever I was going through a life change, Matt would somehow show up at the right time and just listen and help me put words to what I couldn't. I like to joke saying, "it's a good thing he went into therapy because he had a perfect test subject." I'm grateful for many things in my life, and Matt will always be one of them.
Groomsman
Mike’s Cousin Growing up, Alex was like an older brother to me. I always looked up to him and his adventurous spirit. When I was young Alex always reminded me to LIVE life and to stand for what I believe in. He may not know this, but the first time I knew Bethany was "the one" I was lost in the woods snowshoeing with Alex chatting about life.
Groomsman
Friend of the Couple Ryan and I have been friends since high school. We all have that one "ride-or-die" friend till the end, that's Ryan to me. Whether it's jamming out in the car, playing retro games until 3 am, or getting off work to find Ryan in my Milwaukee apartment with a case of beer, I know he'll be there through it all. This is why I knew I needed Ryan up there with me on the big day.
Groomsman
Friend of the Couple Justin is a friend that will always find a way to brighten your spirits and have fun. No matter what we end up doing, I know we'll have a blast together. From being roommates and navigating Milwaukee together, to hiking up mountains in the Smokies, I know I can count on Justin to celebrate the most important days with me.
Usher
Friend of the Couple Tj and Bethany met through band camp at UofL. Bethany knew they would be friends when he, as a freshman, started cheering just as loud and waving his arms in the air when the rest of the leadership team started acting aloof to welcome the freshmen in. And their friendship only grew from there, partly due in part to numerous hours of being each other’s bus buddies on band trips.
Usher
Friend of the Couple Omega and Bethany met through band camp at UofL. The first time they met, Omega, being on the leadership team, helped lug her things up the four flights of stairs to her dorm room. He recounts this memory with Bethany’s over the top excitement and enthusiasm that only comes from new freshman. Throughout college, they bonded over exploring new places in Louisville and the multiple band trip experiences and performances.
