We both embraced the modern world we are living and met the most romantic way possible; online! We were both shocked to see what a simple message would lead to. First a meetup, then lots of dates, conversations, adventures, and oh yeah, a pandemic, and now here we are with forever on our horizon! Truly only a story our creative God could write.

It was a cold and rainy night (yes, really). Derrick surprised Bethany at her house and took her out. Though suspicions were raised, Bethany didn't quite know what to think of the situation. Alas, they ended up at a beach park where Derrick lured Bethany out the the boardwalk so they could dance. (Yes, it was still cold and raining). A couple songs and a slow dance later Derrick dropped to his knee, and dropped the ring! Thankfully the ring was spared and Bethany answered the easiest question ever!
