The venue provides 50 parking spaces in a lot located on 505 W 12th St. These will fill up on a first-come first-serve basis. Metered street parking is also available in the area. For our out-of-town guests, we recommend staying at a nearby hotel and using rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft to get to and from the venue easily. Allan House is in the heart of downtown Austin, so getting a ride should be easy!
There a lots of wonderful hotel options downtown to choose from. We have organized two hotel blocks with discounted group rates for anyone who is interested. Details and links underneath the "Travel" tab. Both hotels are around 5 minutes from the wedding venue.
Yes, when you RSVP under the "RSVP" tab, there will be a section to specify any food allergies or dietary restrictions that you may have. Please let us know there! We will do our best to accommodate all requests.
We request that all guests wear semi-formal attire (suit or tuxedo for men, cocktail or floor-length dress for women). If you have any questions or clarifications, please reach out to us!
The wedding ceremony and reception will both take place in an outdoor courtyard. The cocktail hour will be partially indoors and outdoors in the Allan House itself and its wraparound porches.
We are registered at Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn and also have group funds set up through Zola, all of which can be found underneath the "Registry" tab. If you wish to purchase a gift, we would request that you do so through the online registry in lieu of bringing something to the wedding itself.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin a 6 o'clock, so please plan to arrive a few minutes prior to this in order to have time to be seated. Thanks!
