Going all the way back to Concord High School, classes of 2007 and 2008, we were in the same friend group that was often together. Jake actually coached Beth's junior-year powderpuff football team! Little did we both know that, after 13 years apart, our similar life experiences and past acquaintance would bring us together. We re-connected in January of 2021, and have found a love and care for each other, and for Luke, that we all deserve. We are looking forward to celebrating our marriage and future together with all of our friends and family!

We love to play golf at inexpensive and laid-back courses around Jackson. On July 7th, we decided to try out a new course and have a fun afternoon together. This ended up being Beth's worst round of golf; up until the 18th hole that is. On the 18th tee box, as Beth was putting her tee in the ground and lining up for her last drive of the round (ready to get the awful round over-with), Jake pulled a box out of the bag, approached her on the tee box, and asked her to marry him. Her first words were, "Are you sure?!". There was no question what her answer would be. Jake completed the family and had become an incredible father-figure to Luke. By the way, she par'd the 18th hole. It must have been the good-luck charm on her left hand.
