Arriving to Ashland at the same time though not knowing it, our two paths crossed a year and a half later when the love story was destined to unfurl. Nick and Ellen met at the Light House, a center for consciousness and healing arts that was only open for one year. Nick shared his story of his father's recent passing with the circle group Ellen was co-facilitating, and the group held him while he wept. Ellen squeezed his foot with love, to support in grounding and connection, and offered Nick her phone number if he needed a friend. One month later, it was clear through Ellen's visions and intuition that they were to meet up in person to get to know each other more. A deep and potent meditation brought the souls of her future children into her vision, and they said they were ready for their mother to start harmonizing with their father. This was profound for her, but she continued to listen to her guidance, trusting her vision. That very night Nick was coming into her dream realm and she felt as if she had known him her whole life. A sense of comfort and deep satisfaction came over her whenever he arrived to visit her in her dreams, which took place three nights in a row. On a raw food diet at that time, Nick made Ellen a raw salad to share in the park. While painting on a food truck, the connection was just as easy and magical as it was in her dreams, having the knowingness that her future children had just introduced her to their father. "I am leaving for Bali in two weeks," Nick said on that first date. "I want to go with you!" Ellen responded lovingly. And so it was! Two weeks into their fresh love, they flew off to Bali, Indonesia on what they told the locals was their honeymoon. Stepping into rooms decked out with flowers, towels folded like swans, and being offered pieces of raw vegan cake to share, they were treated like King & Queen in this foreign land. Life was so easy, uplifting, and supportive together. A 13 hour layover in Manila led to endless laughter, beauty, nesting, and rejuvenation. Traveling in this way is a great way to know who your travel mate is, and if it is compatible! Oh, was it compatible....<3 Arriving home from this vacation felt like years had passed together. The depths of love being reached made one month spent together feel like one year. There was something here. Something very special here. So, why this 7/7/7 business? Wait a moment while we share a legend with you. Since Ellen was in college, her email address was her first and last name, followed by 777. The significance to her being a connection with divinity and the perfect nature of the universe. Numbers have always had a special place in both Nick & Ellen's awareness; A symbol of alignment and affirmation of their life's journey. "Coincidentally" enough, both Ellen & Nick were born on the 16th, and in numerology, this makes a 7 (1+6=7). Even more of a "coincidence", Nick was born exactly 7 years and 7 months before Ellen was. The three sevens. 777. (You can't make this stuff up!) On the day they proposed to each other under the live oak tree in Santa Barbara, it was very clear when the date to be wed would be. Noticing that 2+0+2+3 equaled a 7, there was no mistaking the once again divinely perfect alignment of their love! Only a year and a half away, July 7th, 2023 was the god-given date for their love to be witnessed by their families and closest friends. This is why you find yourselves here, reading this today.

Beyond being in love, deciding to deepen into marriage, and share a life together, Ellen & Nick manifested their Dream Home in the winter of 2022. On 23-acres, with the creek flowing through the property as they imagined it to, a geodesic dome built of cedar and stone awaited them to serve as the foundation for their legacy. This wedding day is a ceremonial experience to weave the two families together. Family members are not only invited to celebrate the life and love of these two special humans, but to also celebrate and honor the life that will be lived and the love that will be shared on this beautiful land, in this beautiful home.
