In 2022, Christina went to Big Sky, Montana on a ski trip with friends. Christina, not thinking much of it at the time, posted to instagram that she was skiing in Montana. She then got a message from a friend she had not seen in many years, Alex Diamond. Alex said he was also skiing in Big Sky with a group of friends, one of whom was his college roomate Chris. Christina met up with Alex at the lodge for a drink when in walked Chris. The next day, Chris decided to text Christina saying "Hey it's Alex's friend Chris, do you want to go skiing together?" Christina, growing up in a big ski racing family, knew that this was a make or break situation. Little did Chris know, this was his chance to prove if he could keep up with Christina on the slopes. After a fun day of skiing, to Christina's surprise, the city boy was able to keep up! Within a week of being back in Boston, the two went on their first date and the rest was history! As Chris loves to say, "We lived four blocks away from each other, but had to go all the way to Montana to meet each other." It is only fitting the two met each other doing the sport they both love!
