Cute plaza with lots of restaurants. Stratford Cafe was Sara's favorite brunch spot growing up. Make your way down Seagrove Park and onto the beach, walking north towards Dog Beach!
Well known hiking trails on top of the La Jolla cliffsides. Moderate level trail, mostly a casual walk with stunning scenic views. You can hike around the top or take the path that leads down to the beach (recommended). If you drive south about 5 minutes you will hit Torrey Pines Gliderport which is a great spot to picnic on the grass and watch the paragliders jump off the cliffs!
Nice and easy 3 mile loop around a lagoon!
1. Torrey Pines (Famous, can be hard to get tee times) 2. La Costa Resort (Beautiful course, PGA tour hosted here) 3. Encinitas Ranch (Every level can play here, has nice views of the ocean) 4. Carlsbad Crossing (More difficult than Encinitas Ranch, very nice course) 5. Twin Oaks (More inland, easier to get a tee time)
La Jolla Kayak is a fun couple hour adventure where you can explore the La Jolla caves if the conditions are right. Only guided tours will allow you to go in the caves, but you can also rent kayaks to take out on your own.
Located in Mission Bay about 30-35 minutes from the venue and a great place to spend the day with sailboat, kayak, paddle board, and jetski rentals.
