The Wedding Website of Benny Chan and Cindy Yeung
Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

June in Vancouver can be tricky! We may get a warm summer day but it does get chilly at night. If there is rain in the forecast, be sure to bring a blanket scarf or a jacket!

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place? How do I get there?

Answer

Both the ceremomy and the reception will be at the same location: Golden Eagle Golf Course located in Pitt Meadows. The address is 21770 Ladner Road, Pitt Meadows, BC V3Y 1Z1. Please enter 'Golden Eagle Golf Course' on your phone's GPS rather than the address as entering the address will take you to a different place (close-by though) Driving or carpooling is your best option. There's free parking on site. Alternatively, you may take a taxi or an Uber. Unfortunately, public transit does not service directly to the golf course.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place on an outdoor covered deck. The reception will be held indoors.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive between 2:45-3:15pm for the ceremony; the ceremony will start at 3:30pm. If you are only coming for the reception, we recommend that you arrive between 5:15-5:45 for the reception; the couple will be making their grand entrance at 6:00pm.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #cdybnywedding so we can see them, too!”

Question

What can I do during the time between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

After the ceremony, head over to the main building where beverages and a snack will be served. The couple will also be around to mingle!

Question

What time will dinner commence?

Answer

Dinner will commence at 6:30pm. We have a buffet-style dinner.

Question

My child is coming to the reception and is on the RSVP list. What should I bring?

Answer

If your child requires a booster or a highchair at the dinner table, please BYOB (Bring Your Own Booster) as we only have a limited number of highchairs at the venue. If you don't have one that you can bring, please contact us.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction or allergy?

Answer

We are having a buffet style dinner, so hopefully everyone will be able to compile a meal that will make them happy. If you have specific concerns or allergies that may be severe or life-threatening, please add this to your RSVP or contact us directly (You know our numbers =P)

Question

Can I take home centerpieces, decorations, etc?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Some of the decorations are rentals or borrowed from our dear friends. So please leave our reception with our little gift to you (that will be placed at your seat), a full belly, and memories of the evening.
