Our Story in Pictures

Spring 1995 Stuart’s family before they moved to Washington. Sarah and I had been friends several years prior to Stuart and I dating. We dated for a few months on either side of this photo.

July 26, 2021 Candytopia. This dragon was made entirely of jelly beans! Had the most fun at a kids candy heaven.

August 21, 2021. I snuck a picture of him at my daughter’s wedding. Taylor is in the background being goofy. 😂

October 17, 2021 Our first time eating at a sushi bar on a conveyer belt where you get points for cleared plates put in the trash shoot. You watch a cute cartoon and can win cute little prizes.

October 18, 2021. A Harry Potter themed shop with tasty treats, drinks, and memorabilia. They had a moving mop and pictures that change frames and faces.

October 23, 2021. Our first trip to the Renaissance Festival and he dressed up with me!

November 26, 2021. Took some of the kids to the Houston Aquarium and the attached theme park.

June 25, 2022 2nd annual Watermelon Festival but each of us 60+ pounds lighter.

July 4, 2022. The black bear that we watched playing around. So we decided to take a picture with him to remember.

July 4, 2022 We went to the Caldwell Zoo with Melanie and Garrett. We are all melting in the summer heat but had fun all together.

July 5, 2022. Visiting Nolan at one of his big theatre church camps. The counselors he works with wear silly hats during part of their meeting. They let us borrow some.

July 7, 2022. Frank Buck Zoo in Gainesville.

July 29, 2022 My first Astros game with Stuart, Melanie, and Garrett. Melanie and I danced in our seats to the Latin intro music for the players.

August 13, 2022. We went to Lake Charles to check out UMAMI Japanese Restaurant. The chef served us unique types of sushi while we watched them make the sushi and prepare the fresh ingredients.

September 3, 2022 Stuart took me to Panama City Beach for my birthday! Margaritaville, Build a Bear, and the beach 🏝️. Loved the whole day🥰

March 25, 2023. We tried the new Crumbl Cookie in Lake Charles.

April 5, 2023. Waiting for the weather and a pilot for my first flight ever on our trip to Hawaii.

April 7, 2023. The aquarium in Maui. The tunnel surrounded by sharks and fish was great.

April 7, 2023 A walk on the beach at night in Hawai’i.

April 8, 2023. Almost everyone that came learned how to do a hula dance with sticks. Sarah was the photographer since she was in a boot.

April 8, 2023. Prior to the amazing dinner and the educational show at the Luau, we took a picture together. We were there to celebrate his parent’s 50th anniversary.

April 10, 2023. The proposal was a surprise to me. His sisters were camera ready as I came out of the water from snorkeling (a new experience for me).

April 10, 2023. Of course I said yes! 💍 Nolan is photo bombing. 😂

April 27, 2023. I got to design my own engagement ring. I cannot wait for it to be made and on my finger😍

May 13, 2023. We decided to go putt-putting again since it had been a while.
