Despite both being from Durham, Bennett & Rawls met in Washington, DC while playing kickball on the mall (their team, 1-800-ITS-LIT, won back-to-back national championships). After a few dinner dates and one CHVRCHES concert, the two made it official and have been together ever since. Bennett still finds it suspicious Rawls asked her to be his girlfriend one week before the Panthers-Redskins game, to which she had box seats (and field passes) through work.
