We met on a fun little app called Bumble. We chatted for a couple of weeks and decided to give this a shot and meet. With such busy schedules, we didn't realize until the day, that we had planned to meet on 2/14/18...Valentine's day! We made the best of it and ended up having the best time and closing the restaurant down. We were inseparable ever since!

On December 7th, 2019 at 7:30 am Benjamin got down on one knee and I said YES to be his forever. A couple of weeks prior, Ben sprung on me that he had a last-minute business trip to New York City and asked if I could come along for the weekend. Who says no to NYC? His mom and stepdad decided they would join as well and before we knew it we had a whirlwind of a weekend planned. In the back of my mind, I was praying for the day he would ask me to be his wife sooner rather than later... I couldn't wait! We woke up on Saturday morning bright and early to go Ice Skating at The Rockefeller Center. It was magical! We drank hot cocoa and skated underneath the most beautiful Christmas Tree. We wrapped up ice skating and went for a walk and to take pictures in front of the tree. It was a quiet morning and not many people around and as we went to take a photo Benjamin grabbed my hand and turned me to the tree. I immediately started crying and knew God had answered all my prayers. I don't remember much of what was said, we both admit we blacked out but we were so happy. That will go down as my favorite Christmas present of all time.
