Sarah's Childhood Best Friend Sarah met Lindsay when they were 3 years old. She was with her mom picking her brother up from Lindsay's house where he was hanging out with her brother. While their moms spent time talking, Lindsay and Sarah spent time together and they've been best friends ever since.

Ben's Childhood Best Friend Ben met Damon at daycare when they were 2 years old. They had both recently moved to Florida; Damon from Minnesota and Ben from Argentina. They quickly became best friends and a few years later became neighbors. They stayed best friends even after Damon moved away in middle school.

Sarah's Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority Sister Sarah met Jenna when they were Student Ambassadors for Saint Leo University. They were tour guides on the same day, so whenever they didn't have a tour they got to hangout in the Admissions Office and talk. The only time they weren't allowed to talk was when Jenna was going through her sorority recruitment, which lead to a long shift in the office during that week.

Sarah's Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority Sister Sarah and Jess met during Jess's sorority recruitment season as a freshman. They only got to spend a limited amount of time together during the process, but the few conversations they had during that time were the start of their friendship.

Sarah's Brother Ben met Jack soon after Ben and Sarah started dating. Jack had just moved back to Minnesota from Los Angeles, and both Jack and Sarah were celebrating recent graduations. Jack and Ben grew closer as Ben continued visiting their home to see Sarah.

Sarah's Friend From High School Sarah met Raina when their mutual friend Carly introduced them at an All Saints Youth Group event where Sarah was one of the Youth Leaders. They spent the whole event hanging out and laughing at what their other friends were doing. They all continued to hang out at and outside of church events.

Ben's Friend From the Military Jack was one of the first people Ben met when he joined the 34th Infantry Division after joining the Minnesota National Guard and graduating from Army training. Ben and Jack deployed to the Middle East soon after, and once again five years later.

Sarah's Friend From High School Sarah and Carly met when Sarah was a Youth Leader at a Middle School Youth Event night that Carly was at. Sarah was having a conversation with the little brother (now a close friend) of one of her good friends and Carly came up and joined in. They spent the rest of the event talking and they clicked right away.

Ben's Friend Ben met Max when he first visited Minnesota near the end of high school. Max was one of Damon's high school friends, and welcomed Ben with open arms as they bonded through Pokémon-GO and late night bonfires.

Sarah's Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority Sister (and Grand-Big) Sarah met Amber when she joined AST. Part of sorority tradition is that each new member gets a mentor (referred to as a "Big") and they join a family line of other sisters through this. It is always a surprise of who your "Big" is going to be. Sarah joined Amber's Family Line (The Shine Line) as her Grand-Little and they got to spend all day after the reveal going to Denny's for breakfast, exploring downtown Tampa, and then line dancing that night.

Ben's Friend Ben met Kyle when he first visited Minnesota near the end of high school. Kyle was one of Damon's high school friends, and happily welcomed Ben into the group. Kyle and Ben strengthened their friendship through a mutual enjoyment of videogames and hiking.

Ben's Sister Sarah met Gigi when her and Ben flew down to Florida to meet his family for the first time. They got to spend the week together going to an amusement park, watching movies, and celebrating Gigi and Ben's birthdays.
