FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jessika L. Evans and Benjamin W. Gunderson
We hope all your inquiries have been addressed and we are thrilled to have you join us in celebrating our love.
Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love children, we've chosen to make our wedding a more intimate affair without little ones present. *No one under 18 unless already specified.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire. We'd love for you to join us in celebrating in style! For gentlemen, a suit, dress pants, and a button-down shirt would be perfect. Ladies, a cocktail dress or a chic pantsuit would be wonderful. If you have any questions about what to wear, please feel free to reach out to Jessika or Benjamin.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to Champion Mill by 4:00 PM to ensure you’ll have time to park, walk in and find a seat by 4:30 PM. Ceremony doors will close right at 4:30 PM and will not be opened until after. Some parking lots may take al little longer to walk from than others.

Question

Is there a parking fee or valet service?

Answer

Free Parking. All parking lots are in walking distance to the entrance but we would recommend getting to Champion Mill early just in case! Some lots are further than others. We will close the doors to our ceremony prior to the start time of the ceremony.

Question

Is the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Indoors! The ceremony will take place in Waterfront Hall and the reception will be taking place in the Butler Ballroom. All are in the same building, Champion Mill.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation holds the key to whether a plus one is allowed. If your name is listed alone, you're invited to attend solo. But if your invitation specifies "plus one" or "and guest," you're free to bring a companion to share in the celebration.

Question

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

Please RSVP online, using this website! We are not doing mail-in RSVPs.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with an entree and desserts.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

The open bar is on us - the hangover is on you!

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

While we cherish the memories of our special day, we've decided to keep our ceremony a private affair. We want to fully immerse ourselves in the moment without the distraction of cameras. However, once the festivities move to the reception, all eyes (and cameras) are welcome! So, get ready to capture the fun and share in our joy.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not registered at the moment but are working on it, keep checking our registry page! We promise to have a registry by the end of March.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You should RSVP by April 21st. If we do not have an RSVP for you by that date we will be contacting you directly.

For all the days along the way
