Courtney We met on tinder! Ben was the only guy on the app, that I messaged first! I even “super liked” him to make sure he knew, I meant business. Haha! I had a gut feeling, he was going to be my best friend. I knew at the very least, we would go rock picking together! Our first date was at Riverview Park, in Eau Claire. Ben picked me up in his green Chevy and boy was he NERVOUS! The way he squirmed in his seat was super cute! Ben had brought some of his agate collection and we talked for hours. He eventually asked me for a hug, and it was the most heart warming hug I’ve had.. in such a long time. We grabbed a burger and a drink, went swimming, and acted like we had known each other for years. The first date was so great, 2 days later we went rock picking!❤️ On 6/19/21 we went to Lake Superior and Benjamine told me to stand in the water with him, and asked me to be his girlfriend! Benjamin I checked Tinder one day on break, just passing time. I had a "super like" and a message from Courtney Felton. My Bio was "Agates and Arrowheads" not much more. We started chatting, hours of conversation and video chatting. We lined up a date at a park in Eau Claire. I was so nervous on my way down there, I almost turned around. Sure glad I didn't! I rolled up to her grandpas and picked her up, then we went to the park. I brought a cooler full of Agates and we looked at each and every one. Then we went and grabbed a drink and had lunch. It almost felt too good to be true, the date was going so well. We went back to the beach and went swimming, sure was a blast! Unfortunately the day came to an end, I took her home. You could not have wiped that smile off my face, that smile lasted 50 miles. Lol! I knew that was the start to something beautiful. Still to this day, I feel like I picked up my soulmate that day and never dropped her off! With all my heart, Benjamin

Just an average day of going rock picking, so I thought! On our way down to Durand, Ben was acting strange, actually he had avoided me like the plague for days, haha! I was in the river looking for some agates, everyone was on the beach looking and Ben had called me over. His words, “Hey babe! Come check out this rock!” Me in my head, thinking “Are you kidding me? We just got here! He’s always finding the first one!” I got over by him, he got down on one knee and pulled out a GEODE, with the most perfect ring in it and asked “Will you marry me?” The way I was shocked! I asked if he was serious! I was blown away by his creativity and thoughtfulness. I gave him a kiss and couldn't stop looking at it! Of course I said "Yes!" We finished the day with an Agate Date, and told our friends and family about the exciting news! I cried a couple times, as the emotions took a couple moments to sink in. Lol! It was a memorable day, to say the least! I can't wait to marry the love of my life and best friend!
