"I remember precisely the first time I met Ben. I had just moved to Utah three days prior and was attending what I thought to be a normal day of church. However, when I walked into my Sunday School class, I immediately noticed this weird, scrawny kid sitting in the corner, his chair leaning precariously against the wall. I was the only girl in the class so naturally, everyone was staring at me already. But there was something really off about this one kid, he honestly made me a little bit uncomfortable. To make matters worse, he made the genius decision to try and get my attention in what I perceived to be some sort of bizarre mating ritual. He leaned towards me and looked me dead in the eyes and said, 'Hi Eleanor, do you want to see my Rubiks Cube?' I mean, what do you even say to that? I remember thinking he was weird, but still being intrigued by him. We became relatively friendly acquaintances that summer, but when we ended up sitting next to each other in band class that fall, the rest became history." - Eleanor "When I first met Eleanor it was just a normal day at church. We had been informed that a new girl our age had moved into the ward and that she had a few siblings. We were politely threatened that we needed to be nice to the new girl and I immediately knew I was the man for the job. I remember her walking in and being blown away by how cute this new girl was. Seeing the other guys in the room staring at her as well just fueled my determination to impress. As any strapping young man would, I asked her if she wanted to be mystified by my mad Rubik's Cube skills as I whipped my 4x4 out of the depths of my suit jacket. I even put all four legs of my chair on the ground in preparation for this crucial moment. We didn't really see each other that summer, but I remember going to find my mom down at the church and I found her talking to Eleanor's mom. That's when I found out that Eleanor was a band kid and immediately she became the most important thing in my life. That one shared interest was my one up against the other kids in the ward, dare I say my one-way ticket to Flavor Town." - Ben
