What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is casual or dressy casual. We want you to be comfortable without looking like you just rolled out of bed. Cowboy hats and jeans are welcome. Girls, we are outside on uneven terrain, be smart with the shoe selection.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

During the day, the weather can get up to 78 degrees and at night it can get as low as 43 degrees. The ceremony will be outdoors and reception to follow will be in a festival tent. Bring a jacket if you need. Bug spray recommended.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place at the Forest Grove Ceremony Site (outdoors) near the Mormon Lake Cabins and the Reception will be in a festival tent (covered) behind Mormon Lake Lodge next to the RV park.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

If you are staying at one of the cabins, please use your designated parking space. If you are just joining us for the day, please park at the lodge or RV parking. There is no charge for parking.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

There will be a cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers at the reception tent. Dinner will be served buffet style with your choice of chicken or brisket, salad, and all the fixens!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Mormon Lake Lodge has reserved Cabins and RV spots for us. Please visit the lodging page for more information. You can also stay in Flagstaff at one of their many hotels.
