Travel Note
Ceremony: From the parking lot, the outdoor Woodland Chapel is up a short, flat path with a sturdy wooden boardwalk. Ceremony seats are long benches. There is plenty of space for wheelchairs and walkers with seats if you need more back or arm support during the ceremony. There are two paths to exit this area; back down the boardwalk or down a path with large stone steps and a single handrail. Dinner & Dancing: Dinner tables will be called one by one to a buffet. The most direct path from the Barn to the buffet has four stairs with a single handrail. Guests who need assistance may be served at their seats. After dinner, tables will be cleared from the Barn to create a dance floor with limited seating. Bathrooms: The most direct path from the Barn to the bathrooms has four stairs with a single handrail. A route with fewer steps (or no steps at all) can also be taken from the Barn to access the bathrooms. General: At any time after the ceremony, guests may mingle inside the House and out on the patio at their leisure. These spaces include a den and a living room with couches and armchairs, an outdoor patio and fire pit with Adirondack seating, raised bed gardens to admire, as well as a dining table and a small kitchen table for additional seating. Generally, these areas are all on one level with one or zero steps to navigate. We hope you'll feel at home, as our large families are known to do when we gather together.
