First, a preemptive thank you for your generosity! Our registry is with Zola.com and can be viewed by clicking on the "Registry" tab above. We will keep our registry open after the wedding so you can give after we're wed, if you'd like!
Thanks for asking! Kristian and Ben are both non-binary people. Kristian's pronouns are she/her or they/them (but never he/him). Ben's pronouns are he/him.
Yes, for the ceremony at the chapel, you can park at South Campus Parking Garage off Sheridan Rd. Parking there is for the day and costs $9 per car.
(See the question regarding parking if you have a car.) The chapel is directly off the CTA's 201 bus route. You can also take a 15 minute walk to the chapel from either the Foster or Davis stops off the Purple Line train, or from the Evanston Downtown stop on the Metra. The reception venue, Beth Emmet Synagogue, is a 20 minute walk from the chapel, or a 7 minute drive. You can also take the 201 East bus directly from the chapel to the reception venue.
On Wednesday evening, Kristian will be attending a Wrigley Field concert with a friend. Thursday evening, we will eat out together as a group. Then the bachelorette and bachelor will go off to have their respective celebrations. Friday night, there will be an afterparty at Ben and Kristian's home before the couple leave to their hotel room for the night. Saturday afternoon, there will be a group trip to the Art Institute of Chicago for whomever wants to come. Sunday late morning, for those interested, newlywed Kristian will be leading a group to the Chicago Pride Parade.
