Megan is KG's sister and her best friend. KG and Megan are not only sisters in real life, but also sisters in Phi Mu and love rooting for the Tar Heels together. Megan will graduate from UNC with a degree in Psychology and Exercise and Sports Science in 2019. The two couldn't be separated for long, because as of June 2019 Megan will be pursuing a doctorate in occupation therapy at Tufts University.
Mike Lebhar
Best Man
Mike was Ben's freshman and sophomore year roommate, and has grown to be one of Ben (and KG's) closest friends. Mike, Ben, and KG shared several classes together in undergraduate, which led to some friendly competition within the group. Mike is pursuing an M.D. at Duke Medical School.
Olivia Anderson

Olivia was KG's college roommate for two years. KG and Olivia spent many nights watching movies together and probably too much money on brunch. Olivia is responsible for making sure KG never overslept any important exams in college. Olivia will graduate with a Masters in Public Health from George Washington University in 2019!
Cormac Bloomfield

Cormac met Ben in first grade and they became fast friends. Through Boy Scouts, they traveled all over the country hiking and camping. More recently, Cormac and Ben traveled to Athens, Greece, together during separate study abroad degrees in the United Kingdom. Cormac attends Duke University Law School.
Mary Claire Clark

Mary Claire has been KG's best friend since they were 11 years old. They met in 6th grade at Holy Trinity Middle School, and have been inseparable ever since. 13 years later, they still aren't sick of each other! Mary Claire graduated from N.C. State University in 2017, and works in data analysis for Bermuda Sands in Charlotte, NC.
Nick Donadio

Nick was one of Ben's first friends ever – they met in preschool! Years of friendship could not be torn apart by Nick choosing Duke University for undergrad. Nick and Ben share a passion for biology. Nick pursues this field professionally as a research assistant at the Fred Hutch Institute in Seattle.
Olivia Kompa

Olivia is Ben's middle sister and will soon be moving to Charlotte to pursue a career in consulting! KG and Olivia have bonded over being involved in sororities and a mutual love of spin class. KG is so thankful for Olivia's enthusiasm for wedding planning! Olivia will be graduating in 2019 from University of Alabama.
Alex Lam

Alex was one of Ben's roommates from college and also one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Ben and Alex both love the NBA, although basketball is not their forte. Alex has a knack for finding the best spots to eat in any city, and has the Instagram to prove it. Alex is currently working in marketing in New York City.
Paige Kompa
Bridesmaid
Paige is Ben's youngest sister and one of the funniest people you've ever met. Paige will be graduating from Upper Arlington High School in 2019 and playing D1 tennis at the University of Dayton next year. Paige and KG both love thrift shopping and watching hours of Netflix. Paige can light up a room with her sense of humor or stories about her dog, Quincy!
Havell Markus

Havell and Ben met at the University of Cambridge during their computational biology masters degree. Originally from Arizona, Havell and Ben both like the idea of lifting weights. Havell actually does more of the actual lifting though. Havell currently works at the Translational Genomics Institute in Phoenix and is an aspiring research physician.
Diane Li

Diane and KG met in their freshman year dorm then lived together their sophomore year at UNC. KG knew Diane would be a friend for life when she agreed to run the 5K Turkey Trot race with her family on Thanksgiving morning. Diane works at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and working towards a graduate degree. KG is especially thankful that Diane captured the photos and video of the proposal!
Luke Miller

Luke was one of Ben's roommates and best friends in college. Luke and Ben spent way too much time playing Super Smash Brothers and ordering Domino's pizza. Luke was responsible for organizing many group cookouts and spring breaks. Luke is currently working for McKinsey Consulting in New York City.
Anna Shealy Pruitt

Anna is KG's sister in Phi Mu and roommate from college. KG met Anna when she first transferred to UNC and insisted on hugging instead of shaking hands. KG loves Anna's easy-going personality and enthusiasm for reality TV and Mexican food. Anna is a fellow Charlotte native who will begin training to become a Physician Assistant this fall at Lenoir-Rhyne University.
Scott Nanda

Ben and Scott met in the same computational biology degree at the University of Cambridge. Scott and Ben both enjoy Quentin Tarantino movies and share a passion for Chinese dumplings. Scott is originally from New York and will be starting a PhD at UCSF in Bioinformatics this fall.
Avanti Shirke

Avanti was KG's freshman year roommate and one of her first friends at UNC. KG and Avanti decided to room together when they discovered they both loved The Bachelor. Avanti graduated in 2016, but her and KG's friendship has gotten stronger as they both navigate the world of adulthood. Avanti is working at the Environmental Protection Agency and pursuing a Masters of Public Health at George Washington University.
Lucas Seitz

Lucas was also Ben's roommate in college, and made sure the boys kept on top of their chores and cleaning. Ben and Lucas share a love of dogs and video-games. Lucas even made a trip to Cambridge to visit Ben during his Masters program. Lucas is currently a business manager for a physical therapy office and considering law school in his future.
Lily Edwards
Flower Girl
KG began babysitting for Lily in 2017. Juliann Edwards, Lily's mom, was a friend of Duke's, but she quickly became KG's friend as well. During the time that KG babysat for Lily, she was experiencing developmental delays and medical problems. After countless tests for everything from autism to muscular dystrophy, Lily was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome. Rett Syndrome is an extremely rare neurological disorder characterized by loss of motor function and communication. Despite her diagnosis, Lily has the most sparkly and resilient personality. Lily loves music (especially Somewhere Over the Rainbow), Mac and Cheese, people watching, and snuggling. She will be escorted down the aisle by her father, Andrew Edwards.
Martin Pruitt

KG and Ben met Martin in college when he began dating Anna (one of KG's bridesmaids)! KG and Ben love Martin's outgoing personality and spent many nights in college playing boardgames together. We are honored to have one of our friends marry us!
