Ben and Kallie grew up in the same hometown of Elk River, Minnesota. Ben was good friends with Kallie's brother growing up. Kallie and Ben took similar paths, both having moved to Denver for a few years after graduation. They began dating in 2022 while living in Denver. Josh and Sam approved of the relationship :) It was an easy decision for them to move back to Minnesota to be close to family and friends, and to further their relationship with God and each other.

Ben proposed in Tahoe while on a ski trip with Kallie’s family. 🤍 Ben, Kallie, Josh, Lisa, and Kiersten went for a "hike" in the snow. Once they reached the lake Ben popped the question. They celebrated with family at a delicious Italian restaurant that night. It was such a special time! The celebration continued with their parents and siblings in Minnesota.
