We're throwing a formal wedding, but please don't feel like you need to be stuffy. Tuxedos are not required, dresses of all lengths are a-ok, and a jumpsuit would be perfect to dance in all night. Sequins, feathers, and bold patterns are all fair game, so long as you don't look like you're going to "Saturday Night Fever" night at the Metrograph. Feel best in an elegant, minimal suit or dress? Please wear that! Our goal is for everyone to feel their most fabulous, so please wear whatever fits that bill. We just (kindly) ask for no jeans, casual wear, or white.
No. We love your children, but we're lucky to have so many in our lives that inviting them all would mean we'd exceed our head count. (Plus, we think you deserve a night off!) Please let us know if you need help finding childcare in the area.
We're choosing to simplify our ceremony, so we've opted to not have a bridal party. We also wanted all of our friends and family to feel equally included as part of our day—and didn't want to force anyone into a specific suit or dress!
Please check our "travel" section for details on how to get to our venue.
We've reserved hotel blocks at both the Westin and Courtyard by Marriott in Jersey, but there are also other options in the area. Please check our "travel" page for more information.
We're not hiring a shuttle. There will be valet parking available at Battello on the day of our wedding, and our venue is within walking distance of three nearby hotels as well as the PATH train. Ubers are plentiful in Jersey City, too!
Please see your invitation for a response envelope.
