We’re getting married!

We met as students at EIU, both in our first semesters. We worked together in the dining hall on campus, where we became friends and later started to spend more time together. A few years went by and we finally had our first date! It was a wonderful experience- full of laughter, love, and growing together.

We had a date in Champaign at the garden we went to on our first date, the Arboretum. We strolled through the beautiful Japanese garden, patches of trees, and flower beds. Mario planned for us to have a slow dance by the willow trees, selecting a song that represented the relationship. After the slow dance, he started to express his love & got down on one knee to ask the big question!
