Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. We are encouraging cocktail-style attire. Options for women include a cocktail or day dress, a blouse with dress pants, or even jumpsuits. Options for men include a button-up shirt, tie, slacks, sport coat is optional. Please avoid wearing white, cream, champagne, or white-adjacent colors.

Are kids included in our invitation?

Answer

We love your kiddos to the moon and back! However, Grant and Kelsey have some big families, so we are having an adult-only ceremony and reception to keep costs within reason. If it just isn't possible for you to make it due to this, we completely understand, and we love you regardless. We'd love for you to use this as a date night to get dressed up and party with us.

Can I bring a plus one/a date?

Answer

We have listed the number of guests included in your party on your invitation. It will state "We have reserved ____ seats in your honor". Please refer to that. Due to budget constraints, we could not include plus ones for all of our guests. We can't wait to see you!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 25-30 minutes prior to the time listed on your formal invitation to allow our Ushers plenty of time to seat you. This would be around 2:30 pm CST. Unfortunately, anyone arriving after 3 pm CST will not be able to enter the ceremony space.

Will there be dancing at the reception?

Answer

This may seem like a "duh" answer, but YES!! The couple loves dancing so please bring your dancing shoes and get ready to party!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Amazon, Target, Anthropologie, and Zola (multiple brands available on Zola including Crate and Barrell, Parachute, etc). While your presence is the greatest gift we could receive, please see the "Registry" tab of this website if you'd prefer to give a physical gift as well. This is not expected from the couple, but we have had lots of questions regarding our registry so we included it on this website.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Please check the "Travel" tab of our website to view the hotels that are closest to our event space.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We unfortunately do not have transportation available from any hotels in the area to our event space, however, there are multiple services available including Uber. If you need specific suggestions, please let us know! We ask that if you are planning to drink, please have a sober driver ready at all times. Our wedding venue sits on a county-funded park so there will be uniformed officers present as per the venue's policy, so please avoid overindulging and getting yourself in trouble! ;)

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have signature cocktails available during cocktail hour free of charge along with beer and wine. Following cocktail hour, once dinner and dancing begins, liquor will be available for purchase. Beer and wine remains free.
