Shockingly, yes! We met online and decided to go on a date. Cameron picked me up at my college campus and off we went to Barrett's Alehouse in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Cameron can likely tell you exactly what I was wearing and what I chose to eat (which I think was pizza). Knowing him as I do now, he likely ordered steak, chicken, or some kind of fish, likely with a side of roasted or grilled vegetables. Anyway, the next day I asked Cameron what his plans were and he said that he had to go to a family birthday party. Little did he expect that I would invite myself and meet one side of his family for our second date. His family welcomed me with open arms, as did mine with Cameron, and ever since then we've been together. It's hard to believe it's already been five years, but we couldn't imagine spending the rest of our lives with anyone else.
