We’re getting married!

The first time they met was in Harrisonburg, VA the last weekend in July of 2017. They were both there for a softball/baseball tournament. The weekend was so rainy our tournaments got cancelled, so both their teams were by the pool. Emily’s sister knew one of Colby’s teammates so they all started hanging out, Colby was shy so he let his teammates do all the talking as Emily was not shy one bit! After that weekend, they never thought they’d cross paths again… little did they know, a couple months later the ONE day Emily worked for her parents out in Powhatan to help check people in at Great Clips, Colby walked in… Emily ran to the back to tell her mom she wasn’t checking him in because it was “the guy from the harrisonburg tournament and that’s awkward”. Emily’s mom walked Emily back to the front and made her talk to him (thank goodness)! Right after Colby left, Emily looked his name up in the computer system, got his name, followed him on instagram, then direct messaged him. And, the rest is history!
