Question

Why Savannah, GA?

Answer

We initially wanted a destination wedding, but didn't want to travel too far because we wanted both families to attend. When we first visited Savannah, we fell in love with the scenery, the entertainment, and the atmosphere. We hope you fall in love with the area as well!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It's a beautiful time to visit Savannah during the month of May. The weather is mild with temperatures ranging from lows of 50 to 65 degrees to highs of 70 to 84 degrees.

Question

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

There is public parking near Oglethorpe Square or you may walk to the ceremony from River St. For the reception, there is public parking along River St. or Bay St. There are two parking garages conveniently located two blocks from the restaurant on Drayton St.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a list of recommended hotels under the travel tab. These hotels are located on River St. which is walking distance to the ceremony, the reception, and the after-party. Of course you are more than welcome to stay elsewhere, just keep in mind that parking may be limited on River St.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Since we have a strict budget and max capacity for the venue, only those listed on the official wedding invitation are invited to the wedding.

Question

Can I bring my kid(s)?

Answer

We love kids, but we do have a strict budget and we have limited capacity at the venue. If your kids are listed on the invitation, they are welcomed to come.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 4, 2024.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will be having a cash bar at the reception. Guests must have a valid ID on their person to consumer alcohol on property. Outside alcohol is not permitted.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony so that our photographer can do their job and capture our special moment.

Question

Can I post photos on social media?

Answer

Of course! Although we are having an unplugged ceremony, you are more than welcome to take pictures before and after the ceremony.
