Bride
Bailey is a well-rounded, outgoing, phenomenal young women. She has thrived in her studies and has passed on her wisdom as an educator. She expands her knowledge as she continues her studies in higher education. She has been a continuous joy to her friends, family, and loved ones.
Groom
Parris is a passionate, loving, and magnificent young man. He has taken his talents from the football field into the classroom, where he inspires youth on a daily basis. His warming smile and infectious laugh brighten the days of those he loves.
Matron of Honor
Alexis is Bailey’s only biological sibling. She was almost three when her little sister was born. She has always been there to support her sister. She will be standing right beside Bailey on her big day taking on the role as Matron of honor. She is so proud of the women Bailey is becoming and she can’t wait celebrate Bailey marrying the love of her life.
Best Man
Archie and Parris had the pleasure of meeting at Winston-Salem State University during an interesting meeting. Their friendship soon grew to brotherhood as they pledge together. However, to Archie their brotherhood extends beyond their fraternity. Archie believes that they are connected through morals, values, and faith. The two constantly encourage one another to grow and improve, make sure to get better every day. Their relationship is simple one that is unmatched. Archie will be the best man in the Baxter wedding. To sum it up, from the words of Archie himself, “Long story short that's my DAWG.”
Maid of Honor
Jaide and Bailey met while working at a daycare and Greensboro. The pair quickly became close friends and spent a ton of time together. After transitioning to new jobs, the pair remained friends. Jaide will be Bailey’s maid of honor and will help to create a special day.
Groomsman
Kash and Parris started their friendship as coaches at a local high school. They are now brothers as Kash is also a member of Omega Psi Phi. As coaches on the field, they were unstoppable. Kash is currently pursuing his doctorate at NC State University where he also assists the football team. Parris couldn't be more excited to have him be a part of the big day.
Bridesmaid
Abria and Parris went to Winston-Salem State together and became close friends. Both Abria and Bailey went to the same middle school and high school at different time frames and didn’t meet until they left the city of Charlotte. After meeting through Parris, Abria and Bailey became great friends as well. Abria will be a bridesmaid in the upcoming wedding and has been instrumental in keeping the bride cool, calm and collected.
Groomsman
Antoine is one of Parris’s three siblings. Antoine was seven years old when his little brother was born. Antoine has nothing but good things to say about his little brother. Oftentimes the little brother looks up to the big brother and in this case that is true. But Antoine also looks up to his little brother. To him, Parris is his Superhero and has surpassed all expectations he had for him. Antoine will be a groomsman in the wedding and Parris is honored to have him be his side on the big day.
Bridesmaid
Angel and Bailey met in high school through a close friend. Once Bailey changed high schools, the pair were able to grow their friendship. Angel is currently pursuing her doctorate at the University of Chicago with a focus in Comparative Human Development. Angel and Bailey are able to encourage one another on their paths of education.
Groomsman
Rob met Parris his sophomore year while trying out for football. Rob notes Parris’s high intensity, beliefs, and genuine personality are some of the reasons they became close friends. They now consider each other to be brothers and remain close. Rob will be a groomsman on the big day to stand by Parris’s side.
Bridesman
Ericka and Bailey met in 6 grade and have been friends ever since. The pair tackled debutante, high school and college always having each other’s back. While distance and dreams have separated their daily activities, their friendship remains. Ericka is currently in graduate school at the University of North Carolina. We are blessed to have her as a supporting factor in our wedding.
