Where is the venue?
Answer
Our wedding (ceremony & reception) will be held at Sweeney Barn in Manassas, VA. Originally a dairy barn that has been transformed into the perfect rustic space to host our wedding.
Question
I am traveling from far away, what should I consider for transport?
Answer
Manassas, VA is about 50 miles south of the District of Columbia. It is a high transient area of the country, therefore has a ton of transportation available from airports, trains/metros, etc. Please see the 'travel' section of the website to learn more.
Question
Will there be a shuttle service for the wedding or should I prepare to drive myself?
Answer
Yes! It is important to us that our friends and family celebrate safely! We are providing a shuttle service for our guests to/from the wedding venue. The pick up time for the shuttle at the designated hotels (see 'Travel' section) at 4:45PM and will provide transportation back to the hotel at the conclusion of the wedding at 11PM. However, should you decide to drive yourself, there is free parking onsite!

Are kids welcomed?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event (with very few exceptions) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Where will the ceremony and reception be?
Answer
The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be held at the same location. The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be indoors in a climate controlled space.

What should I wear?
Answer
It is important for our guests to feel comfortable and relax. The wedding ceremony and reception dress code is semi-formal or dressy casual.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
