We’re so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you. Thursday and Friday will be great days to do some exploring in Denver or into the mountains! We may plan an informal get together for Thursday evening at one of the local breweries as well with details to follow. Watch for updates on this site.

Larimer Square is a trendy block of Victorian buildings is home to chic shopping, dance clubs, a comedy club, outdoor cafes and a dozen of Denver's best restaurants. For 40 years in downtown Denver, it's hip to be at the "Square."

Denver Union Station has undergone a massive restoration that transformed the landmark into a transportation, dining, shopping and entertainment hub and hotel. The historic, Beaux Arts 1914 train terminal is now a foodie destination, with a dozen restaurants and bars, from farm-to-table favorite Mercantile to the Terminal Bar, situated in the station's old ticket windows.

The district's interesting blend of urban charm and unique industrial revival makes it a great destination for visitors. Historic warehouses and factories now house jazz bars, restaurants, brewpubs, art galleries and working studios.

(Beckett & Jeremy's 1st hike together) Hikers and equestrians at Mount Falcon Park have 1.7-mile Turkey Trot Trail all to themselves. The remaining 11 park miles are multi-use. The 2,000-foot elevation gain of the Castle Trail, a steep climb from the east, provides a vigorous workout. There is also a wooden tower, situated along Tower Trail, which visitors can climb to survey wonders of the landscape that never cease to amaze.

The winding dirt road trail of Waterton Canyon takes you along the South Platte river and into a canyon where you might spy some Bighorn sheep or catch the sight of massive eagles soaring on the warm air currents rising from rock. It’s an out-and-back hike, and you have a lot of options, from a short hike in to have a picnic, all to way to 12.4 mile round trip adventure to the Strontia Springs Dam. You can hike, bike, and fish on this hike near Denver.

Carved from towering red rock monuments, Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre is one of the world's most renowned concert venues and has hosted everyone from the Beatles to Bruce Springsteen. Listening to a concert here is on the "bucket list" of every true music fan. When there's no concert, the Visitor Center has a free museum and Performers' Hall of Fame, while the surrounding park has hiking trails that weave in, around and over the colorful red rocks.

Breckenridge is a town that is known for its luxe ski resort, stunning mountain scenery, and endless recreation. The former mining town is lined with hundreds of restaurants, shops and saloons. Breck attracts visitors from around the world. It probably has the most places to eat out of any mountain town, so it’s easy to find a great meal or happy hour. Drive Time approximately 1hr 30min

Cross under the covered bridge and stroll up bridge street to Gondola One. In-between, you’ll find a quaint village atmosphere with world-class restaurants, shops, late night hot spots and more. Drive time approximately 1hr 50min
