We met on the very first day of 8th grade, when we were just 13 years old. We became acquaintances, as we had most of our classes together, and in early high school we ended up in the same friend group. However, at the end of freshman year, we had a bit of a falling out and grew apart. It wasn't until our junior year of high school that a mutual friend brought us back together. After a football game in early September, with some prompting, Andrew confessed his feelings for Becca. Andrew was feeling bold and asked Becca to be his girlfriend, but she, cautious and wanting to be sure, decided to take a little time. Three months later, on a day after Thanksgiving in 2018, we knew it was time to take that leap of faith. We officially became a couple, and from that moment on, our hearts became inseparable. Since that day, our love has grown stronger with each passing moment, and we couldn't imagine my life without the wonderful story of how we found each other again and created a love that will last a lifetime.
Andrew: “I knew that Becca was the one I wanted to spend my life with since the moment I laid eyes on her. It wasn't anything specific that drew me to her; instead, it was like something clicked, and I realized she was the one that God made for me to spend the rest of my life with. As cheesy as it sounds, that's when I really realized Becca was the one for me. That was all the way back in eighth grade, and that feeling I had has never changed.” Becca: “I had no idea when we started dating that Andrew was the man I was going to marry. I liked him a lot, how he treated me, how he communicated with me…I think I knew he was my person when I realized how intentional he was towards me, how gentle he was with me and the people I love, and how he always treated me with respect. He was always so thoughtful, whether he was bringing me hot chocolate to school every morning, making me dinner, or even just something as simple as a sweet text of encouragement during the day. He always knew the thing to say.”
