Airports

RIW - Riverton - The nearest airport is in Riverton, WY, just 40 minutes from Lander. United Airlines is the only airline to service the airport, and all flights route through Denver. There are usually only two flights a day. Limited rental cars may be available at the Riverton Priceless Rental (call 307-857-7505 for availability) and Turo has a handful of options in Lander and Riverton. We can also arrange shuttles from the airport for those who want to get to Lander and then walk or catch rides (the church and the hotel where our reception will be are only 0.5 mile apart, and the hotel is <0.5 mile from several main street restaurants). If you would be interested in a shuttle from the Riverton airport, let us know by emailing beauandmarissa25@gmail.com. DEN or SLC - Denver or Salt Lake City - These are the nearest major airports. Salt Lake City is 4.5-5 hours from Lander and Denver is 5.5-6 hours from Lander. Flying to either of these cities will give you every airline option and rental car option you could ever need. Flights to and from the following airports tend to be a bit more expensive and are still not particularly close to Lander, but they may be worth checking depending on where you're coming from and your travel plans surrounding the wedding. JAC - Jackson Hole - The Jackson Hole airport is an incredibly scenic 3-hour drive through Teton National Park to Lander. There are occasionally great deals on flights. Rental cars are available. If you're planning a visit to Grand Teton National Park and/or Yellowstone as part of your trip to Wyoming, it would be worth checking here (and maybe Cody, WY) for flights. CPR - Casper - Casper is a not-nearly-so-scenic 2.5 hour drive. Maybe worth checking, but probably not your best option. Rental cars are available.

Driving in Wyoming

Gas stations are few and far between in many areas in Wyoming and cell reception can be spotty (if not gone entirely), especially once you leave the interstate. Keep an eye on that gas gauge so you don't find yourself stuck somewhere without a way to reach anyone!

Places to Stay

Lander has many hotel options as well as a handful of rentals on Airbnb and VRBO. Everything within Lander is close together, so even if your hotel is on the other end of town (i.e. the Holiday Inn), you'll still be less than a 10-minute drive from the Church. We have everything from the older (but well-kept) Western-themed Pronghorn Lodge or Inn at Lander (site of our reception) to the standard Holiday Inn Express and the newly remodeled self-check-in Lander Motel. See below for a list of places to stay. Discounted rates are available at the Inn at Lander and the Holiday Inn. Details provided below.

This is also the location of our reception. We have reserved a block of rooms for the nights of the 26th and 27th at a discounted rate of $104/night. Call the front desk at 307-332-2847 and say you are coming for the Pilch Wedding to make your reservation. If you would like to add nights before or after, you can at the normal rate for those nights. They have some newer staff, so if you have any trouble making your reservation, ask to speak with Crystal or for her to call you back and she will get it figured out for you!
