We're getting married!

The year was 2016 and we were both anxiously awaiting the start of our first year of medical school at Texas A&M College of Medicine. Traditionally, the incoming first year medical students attend a welcome camp, called Disorientation. This 2-3 day camp takes place at a summer camp in Navasota, Texas. During this camp, we are sorted into groups and spend time doing various talking groups, activities, sports, and social events. Naturally, all of the single people start scoping out who's cute and also single. We immediately noticed that the other was single and (unbeknownst to us) interested. We first spoke during a live-action game of Hungry-Hungry Hippo. The conversation was not particularly exciting and the two continued on camp like normal. The following week, medical school was about to start and we both attended a party hosted by one of the other medical students. The whole group went out to North Gate (if you know, you know) and we spent the majority of the night hanging out, finding common interests, and laughing. The next week passed and Rob asked Courtney out for a date. The rest is history!
