It all started on June 16th, 2016 when both Nick and Chelsie started as Regional Nature Museum Directors with Harriman State Park in Sloatsburg, New York. As new staff waited around for the meeting to begin, Chelsie finally showed up . . . late and flustered. Afterwards, the new staff held a cookout at the cabin to get to know each other. During the cookout, Nick and Chelsie decided to go swimming in the lake; which wound up mainly being Nick watching Chelsie swim because of how frightfully cold the water was. It was an instant connection and the friendship grew, with Nick and Chelsie quickly sharing their first date on June 28th, 2016. And as they say, from there the rest is history.
