We met in elementary school at around age 7 or 8. We were always in the same class but did not become friends until middle school around age 11. We ended up in a wood shop class together and that is really where our "friendship" began. We decided to build a derby car together to race at a state competition. Bayleigh was almost a foot taller so Mitchell had the privilege of being the driver, and Bayleigh got to be the designated motor due to a malfunctioned start ramp. After that, we stayed friends ever since until college when we eventually started dating

If there is one thing that Bayleigh makes obvious to everyone is that she is OBSESSED with Volkswagen vans. Bayleigh follows a photographer out of Amarillo who was offering a mini Christmas shoot with a Hippie van and booked it. Mitchell had already had the ring, but then the perfect opportunity fell into his lap. (Almost quite literally). Bayleigh may think that Mitchell is bad at keeping secrets, but this was the best secret he had ever kept.
