Welcome to our wedding website, we can’t wait to celebrate our special day with you! We’ve created this website as a convenient and interactive way to share all of the important details with you for our wedding. Please check back in the weeks leading up to our wedding as we will post updates or announcements here if need be! As of September 20th 2021, we are moving forward with our wedding as planned. At this time we do not have any specific restrictions in place, but we will continue to monitor and update as necessary if things change. We're so thankful to our matchmaking friends, Kevin Lukens and Kim Deeren, for suggesting that Bryan and I meet each other in September of 2018. At the time, all that Kristie knew about Bryan was that he was a friend of Kevin's, he was a tennis player, and she could see a few outdated pictures of him on Facebook. At the time, all that Bryan knew about Kristie was that Kevin described her as genuine, caring, and there were plenty of updated pictures for Bryan to see of her on Facebook. Having both been on other blind dates in the past, we were cautiously optimistic about our first date, but trusted our friends judgement and hoped for the best. It was a good sign when Bryan chose to meet for dinner at a fancy restaurant that he could barely afford. Well, as cliche as it sounds, when we met at that first date we both felt sparks and knew we had just met someone special. For the next several months we spent every weekend going on dates and spending more and more time together, as we lived about one hour away from each other at the time. Two years later and the rest is history! We often reflect back on the serendipity of our meeting each other and have to say : Thank you Kevin and Kim, we are so, so grateful for your roles in bringing us together!
