Here are some restaurants that are a quick uber or walk from the hotel: Rosemary - SO GOOD! But definitely get reservations in advance! Aba - Great mediterranean food! But again, definitely need reservations in advance. etta - Great italian food! And a great brunch! Will give you an espresso martini at 10 am if that's your vibe. Pizzeria Portofino - Right on the river so has great views! Au Cheval - Apparently the best burger people have ever had. However, I still think that honor goes to Town Hall (IYKYK RIP) but for real it is good. Other Recommended Places from our Most Trusted Restaurant Goers: Cabra, Monteverde, Ciccio Mio, Gibson's Italia Deep Dish - If you want to get a Chicago cuisine and want to get some deep dish pizza, I recommend Lou Malnati's. Trust me, one day I literally got all the "best" pizzas and this was actually the best. There are locations everywhere around the city! You should also probably go to Mr. Beef if you are a "The Bear" fan!!
10/10 would recommend! The Chicago River Architecture cruise is one of my favorite things to do in the city. Sit on the top, grab a drink, and cruise around the river learning many new fun facts! Have probably been 10+ times and learn something new each time. If you get a Moscow Mule - ask for a regular cup or you are paying $50 for a decorative glass. Don't say I didn't warn you!
We LOVE Second City! It is SO fun and you may even get a surprise celeb spotting! Honestly, depending on when you book tickets, we might join you.
There are great museums all over the city. The Field Museum and the Art Institute are the best ones to go visit!
Shedd is a great place to go! Plus you get to see downtown and take a glance at Soldier Field 😉
Go to the rooftop for the views! V instagram worthy for my millennials out there!
Cindy's has great downtown views and great cocktails! You can go up here to see The Bean and Grant Park. Personally, I think this is a much better place to see The Bean (honestly it’s kinda boring) than going to it but I'll leave that up to you to decide!
This is not close to downtown but is it worth the trip? Lauren says ABSOLUTELY, Bobby says no. But this is a favorite place to go for a nice glass (or bottle - if you order 2, no corking fee! basically free money!) of wine and it is located right in our neighborhood!
Located conveniently across the hotel for all of your culinary needs.
