We met the summer before Senior year as interns at KPMG. Our relationship turned from coworkers to friends, and by the end of the summer we knew there was a spark. Senior year we visited each other at Gonzaga and Oregon, spent winter break together, and by graduation the relationship was official. Since then we've spent months studying for (and passing!) the CPA in Kyle's parents' basement, enjoying the downtown scene while living three blocks apart in Goose Hollow, moved into an apartment together during COVID, attended many weddings of our closest family and friends, bought a house in Tigard, and most recently welcomed Hank, our adorable chocolate lab, into the family. It's been an amazing 7 years, and we can't wait for the adventures to come!

We went wine tasting at Hawk's View Winery with both our parents and Kyle's brother and sister-in-law, Conner and Kana. We're lucky to live in the same city as both of our families and hang out with them often, so I thought nothing of having everyone there that day. Kana and I had recently become members at Hawk's View, so she casually suggested we go upstairs to see the new outdoor patio. When we got up there, I walked out toward the balcony to look at the view, and next thing I know Kyle is on one knee asking me to marry him. I said "Yes!" and we toasted with sparkling white wine to celebrate. Later that night, my brother Ian, sister Emily, and brother-in-law Bryan joined us along with a few close friends at Kyle's parents' house to continue the celebrations. My cheeks have never hurt from smiling so much in one day :) We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in July!
