Our Story

Andrew: We met through a mutual friend (Nicole) from church. The first meeting was short, but sweet. A double date soon followed, mini-golf. You could say we hit it off :) Faith: Yes, that explains it to a "tee"! We met on Oct 21st last year & our first date was on Oct 27th so it is a very special month for us. A: Faith & I "dated" for about 3 weeks before I got the nerve to ask her if she wanted to be my girlfriend. F: Well, technically, we weren't dating until he asked me out officially ;) A: Ok then we "hung out" :) It took me awhile before I knew I loved Faith. I knew from our second meeting playing mini-golf that she was something special. I have always been a little slow to make decisions, and this one was no different. The first time I remember knowing that I loved her was around Valentine's Day on a trip to Corvallis to see an OSU basketball game. F: Might I add that Andrew is an Oregon DUCK fan..So I got both of us matching Beavers outfits & he wore his just for me-with his Oregon Ducks shirt under-which I thought was hilarious & sweet. A: It took me about 3 months before I told Faith I loved her. It happened one night that we were hanging out at my house. I tried to muster the courage the entire afternoon, and finally as we were hugging and saying good night, I whispered in her ear "I love you". F: I thought I misheard so I just said good night. After I left, I thought, "Ok, did I hear him say "I love you"? I had to know so I called him on the phone. A: She asked "What did you say?" I said "Well, do you know what I said?" She said "Well maybe, but what did you say?" And I said "What did I say?" F: We went in verbal circles a few more times but eventually Andrew came clean about what he said & I was glad I wasn't imagining it. I told him I loved him too :) A: I proposed to Faith on June 27th at McVay Beach, 8 months after our first date. F: And the rest, they say, is history. We look forward to celebrating with you all at our wedding!
