Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We'd love to know if you can make it (we hope you can!). We ask that all guests RSVP by September 14th, 2023

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love the kiddos. But we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults only event. We have made a couple of exceptions to our immediate family and wedding party.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony.

Question

What time is the farewell?

Answer

Pasha's and Barbie's farewell will most likely be at 2 am.

Question

What is the currency in Peru?

Answer

It is called Peruvian Sol (Soles). We recommend googling USD to PEN exchange rate.

Question

Is Peru safe for travel?

Answer

Peru continues to be a heavily touristic destination and is very tourist friendly. Like any other country including ours, we all have to be mindful of our surroundings. Please always commute in pairs or groups as most of you will be unfamiliar with the area. We highly recommend calling your cell phone carrier and getting the international plan while abroad.

Question

What are the best ways to travel within Peru

Answer

We recommend using domestic airlines.

Question

How do I travel within Lima, Peru?

Answer

We recommend Uber or the train (Metropolitano)

Question

How do I travel within Miraflores, Peru?

Answer

By foot or Uber

Question

How do I travel from Lima to Cusco (Machu Picchu)?

Answer

A plane, bus, or guided tour.

Question

Should we travel by taxi?

Answer

We recommend to not use taxi services as they are known to overcharge and scam.
