Caitlin was in her first year of college and just started a new job at Petco where Robby had already been working for about a year. When Caitlin came in for her first shift, Robby was eager to get to know her. After a month or so of talking and learning about each other, Robby asked Caitlin out for the cliche dinner and a movie. While the date plans weren't the most adventurous, Robby and Caitlin just clicked. After the date and on their way back to Caitlin's house, it started snowing. Fall and Winter are their favorite seasons, and they have both loved to spend hours outside in the snow since they were little kids. It was a sign that this could be the start of something great. So, that night, the two put on some warm clothes and went for a walk in the snow. And So It Began...

If you know us, you know that the proposal was a LONG time coming. After over 7 years together, Robby finally popped the question during a rainy Saturday afternoon Zoo date while we were visiting the Otter Habitat. We both love animals and otters are Caitlin's favorite. It was the perfect spot for us. Fun fact: Did you know that sea otters hold hands while they sleep to prevent them from floating away from their mate and group? Yeah, Robby included that in his proposal speech too :)
