Our first date was one that could be found in movies 50+ years ago aka the classic Hinge love story. We each had backup "emergency plans" with friends in case Ryan ended up being a creep. Eight hours and three bars later it's safe to say we found something special in the making. Ever since that day, our love has continued to grow to heights neither of us have experienced. Sam's endless generosity, wittiness, drive, intelligence, humor, and faith has slowly but surely made a decent man out of me. Ryan and I met as many millennial couples do through an online dating app called Hinge. “The app that’s meant to be deleted” and boy was I happy to delete it! Our first date ended up lasting almost 8 hours long. From our first encounter, I knew there was something special about Ryan. He was and is so respectful and kind, but has just the most calming presence about him that had put me at ease right away. I have never met anyone that I could just talk to for hours on end and actually lose track of time. Early on in our relationship, we would have our famous “wine chats” (as some of my friends like to reference them lol) in which I would make Ryan answer a series of meaningful questions about anything and everything. Ryan may have had a love/hate with these questions (I am sure the wine helped tho haha) but those are some of my favorite memories just staying up late chatting and getting to know each other! We have gone on so many amazing adventures and have tackled many of life’s obstacles together. I fall more in love with Ry everyday because he is truly the sweetest, kindest, most supportive and understanding partner I could have ever asked for! We are so excited to get married and can’t wait to build a life together! - Sam
